Spin Film IMPACT [ SFi ]
The non-profit arm of Spin Film, SFi is a pro-active division of Spin Film that uses earned expertise, nuanced contacts and donor funds to intervene in real world issues brought to light through our films.
Arora Akanksha was the first woman millennial to run for the position of UN Secretary General in 2021. Arora is dedicated to serving organizations that are focused on making a positive difference in the area of human rights and social justice. Arora graduated Summa Cum Laude from York University in Bachelor of Administrative Studies and from Columbia University with a Masters in a Public Administration.
Ms. Hovey retired in 2019 as First Vice President and National Impact Investing Director of Morgan Stanley. Her career in wealth management spanned 34 years and was focused on ethical, socially responsible, investing alignment.
Dr. Jumaan (MPH, PhD) has over 30 years of experience in public health, including viral vaccine preventable diseases, cervical and breast cancer research, surveillance, maternal, child health and nutrition, primary health care, and women in development.
